Gloucester, Mass – February 6, 2025 – NeedyMeds, a national nonprofit that connects people
to programs that help them afford their healthcare costs, is pleased to announce the appointment
of Alan Klein to its Board of Directors. Klein brings more than 35 years of experience in
healthcare strategy, business development, and access-to-care initiatives in the healthcare
nonprofit and pharmaceutical sectors, further strengthening NeedyMeds’ mission to make
healthcare more accessible and affordable.
As Chief Growth and Strategy Officer at the PAN Foundation, a charitable foundation and
healthcare advocacy organization, Klein develops and scales support for education, advocacy,
and financial assistance programs and initiatives that accelerate access to affordable, equitable
healthcare.

Klein is a recognized expert on charitable patient assistance programs and access-to-care
initiatives, including through participation in the White House Cancer Moonshot and as an
invited speaker to the White House Minority Health Forum in 2024. His leadership and strategic
vision will be instrumental in furthering NeedyMeds’ commitment to ensuring individuals have
access to the healthcare resources they need.
