Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults. It occurs when the pancreas looses it’s ability to produce insulin. Insulin is necessary for the body to use glucose. The first tip is to eat healthy foods, which everyone should be doing anyways. Your diet has a major impact on your overall health, and a bad diet can contribute greatly to type 2 diabetes.
